Acer TravelMate 4401LMi Notebook

infoSync World reviews the Acer Media Gateway MG-3001P. They conclude that “With the exception of lacking content services, Acer’s Media Gateway MG-3001P comes very close to being the perfect media extender. Excellent support for audio, video and picture formats combines with high-resolution input and an intuitive user interface to make for a highly enjoyable experience. We’re disappointed by its lack of Secure WMA support and DVI/HDMI connections as well as its inability to skip and reverse video, but neither represent considerable showstoppers - and a nice price tag further contributes to the MG-3001P coming highly recommended..”

Acer TravelMate 4401LMi Notebook

TrustedReviews reviews the Acer TravelMate 4401LMi Notebook. Their verdict is that “The Acer 4401LMi is as we’ve grown accustomed to from Acer, a well put together notebook with a decent amount of connectivity. The X700 makes for a solid gaming machine, and the Turion processor impresses with its speed, but not with its battery performance. Ultimately, though it’s the screen that disappoints slightly, with only average resolution and quality. With that in mind, I’d still recommend going for a Centrino based machine for work and something with a better screen for play.”

Acer Ferrari 4005WLMi Notebook

NotebookReview.com reviews the Acer Ferrari 4005WLMi Notebook. They conclude that, “Great laptop, which will last you a while. Definately get the USB sound drive and the total protection warranty extension. At around $2,200 from most retailers, it is a tad pricey; however it really is worth it if you want a great performing laptop. The sensational design is the icing on the cake.”
