Acer: 3rd Largest Notebook Supplier


On Thursday, Acer reported that it was now the third largest notebook supplier in the world - surpassing Toshiba by around 1.7% on market share. This announcement comes in the wake of Acer’s recent revamping of its notebook strategy and its superb notebook sales, particularly in Asia.

So, while Acer works towards fulfilling its aim of becoming the third largest vendor of personal computers by 2007 (overtaking Lenovo, by the way), it has this achievement to serve as inspiration.
