Acer TravelMate 4260 + 3G Launched

When Acer first announced that it would be equipping its newer laptops with 3G wireless capability via the HSDPA standard, the models for two notebooks were revealed: Acer Aspire 5650 and Aspire TravelMate 4260. The former has already been reviewed, while the latter will soon be – at least, according to a Crave at CNET blog post.
The TM4260 will come with a 15″ screen, a 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo processor, a 80GB hard disk drive, and of course, a 3G SIM card which allows you high-speed wireless connectivity in any region with a GSM network.
It’s a pity, however, that it is priced rather exorbitantly at around £1,000 (~US$1,890) – though UK prices are generally a notch or two higher than those state-side.
