Acer n310 Windows Mobile Pocket PC

Acer Germany has “inadvertently” revealed the anticipated Acer n310 Windows Mobile Pocket PC on its own website. We are talking about a Acer handheld powered by a 300MHz ARM CPU and the latest Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC OS, with a 3.7″ VGA display plus the almost standard WiFi and Bluetooth.

A SDIO slot is provided for memory card extension and it is nice to see a 1200 mAH Lithium-Ion battery (up to 8 hours battery life).

Ferrari PDAs Launch Temporarily Withheld

Digitimes reports that “Acer’s planned launch of the Ferrari edition of its n50 PDA has been temporarily withheld due to a licensing problem between the brand vendor and the Scuderia Ferrari team…” and that “No timetable has been fixed for the Ferrari PDA launch…”.
